SHORT STOP YOUTH ART FOR SALE
The Short Stop Youth Center's production team creates a number of unique and beautiful items, including painted ceramic tiles, greeting cards, silk-screened t-shirts, and soul bowls. Staff help young people learn the creative and business skills involved in art production. Also, young artists produce original paintings for sale and have participated in community activities such as Via Colori, the sidewalk painting festival, and the Short/ROY Community Arts Day in the Short North.

Soul BowlHand-painted wooden bowls are decorated with butterflies, birds, flowers, and other creative designs. On the rim of each bowl is a message written by the youth artists. Examples are: 'There is no such thing as someone else's child' and 'Arms that hold a child hold the world.' Price: $20 plus sales tax. |

Painted Ceramic TileHand-painted 4 x 4 tiles have many designs, or you can special order. Prop one up on a plate stand for display, or buy several for a set of coasters. Price: $10 plus sales tax. |

Assorted Greeting CardsBoxes of 15 greeting cards feature an assortment of original artwork created by Short Stop youth. Cards are blank inside for your custom message for any occasion. Thank You cards (blank inside) are also available. Price: $20/box plus sales tax. |

PhotographsPhotographs created by young people will be matted and available in 5” x 7” or 8” x 10”, either framed or unframed. (Click on the pictures to the left to see examples) Matted photos are 11” x 14”. |

All proceeds from product sales fund the Short Stop and Ohio Ave Youth Centers' arts and leadership programs, helping provide youth with creative and educational opportunities while promoting leadership skills, and abstinence from drugs and alcohol, and values such as positive self-esteem and respect.
